About Me

Jean Kelley

I am a board certified pediatrician, in practice for over 25 years. I am dedicated to providing my patients with the most up-to-date, research-based tools to help them achieve and maintain optimal health.  I believe in treating the whole patient, not just treating symptoms. To that end, I work with patients to find the underlying root cause that is driving their symptoms, combining my conventional medical training with nutritional, lifestyle and herbal modalities that I have learned through my ongoing study of nutrition and functional medicine.

I am a graduate of Tufts University Medical School and did my training at New England Medical Center Floating Hospital for Children. As a primary care physician, I have witnessed the dramatic rise in obesity, asthma, autism, allergies and many other chronic medical conditions in children. To better address these conditions, I have expanded my learning beyond conventional medical training to include other fields such as functional and integrative medicine, nutrition, lifestyle medicine, genetics, mind/body medicine and herbal medicine.

I believe that the body will naturally rebalance itself towards health if we remove the things that are causing it harm and provide it with the things that it needs to thrive. I take the time to learn what those things are for each individual patient in order to develop a step-by-step plan to lead the body back to balance and health. I combine my strong conventional and functional medicine knowledge with compassionate coaching skills to guide my patients on their journey back to health.
